Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SGK3, or Serum and Glucocorticoid-regulated Kinase 3, is a member of the AGC kinase family, which plays a critical role in various cellular processes, including cell survival, proliferation, and metabolism. It is involved in the regulation of various signaling pathways, particularly those activated by growth factors and hormones. Research has shown that SGK3 is implicated in a variety of physiological functions and diseases, including cancer, cardiovascular disorders, and metabolic syndromes. Its expression is regulated by glucocorticoids and is crucial for mediating their effects on cell function. Understanding SGK3's biological role and mechanisms of action is vital for developing therapeutic strategies targeting diseases associated with its dysregulation. To facilitate this research, the production of recombinant SGK3 protein is essential, as it allows for detailed biochemical characterization, structural analysis, and functional studies. By expressing SGK3 in host systems, researchers can obtain sufficient quantities of the protein for laboratory experiments, which can reveal its interaction with substrates and inhibitors, contributing significantly to the understanding of its role in health and disease. Additionally, the development of SGK3 inhibitors could provide new avenues for therapeutic intervention in conditions where SGK3 activity is aberrant. Overall, the study of recombinant SGK3 protein not only enhances our basic knowledge of kinase function but also holds potential for translational applications in combating diseases linked to SGK3 dysregulation.
