Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SLC26A7, a member of the SLC26 family of anion transporters, plays a crucial role in the chloride/bicarbonate exchange and is implicated in various physiological processes, including fluid secretion in epithelial tissues. Recent studies have demonstrated its importance in maintaining electrolyte balance, particularly in the kidneys and the gastrointestinal tract. Dysregulation of SLC26A7 expression has been linked to certain pathophysiological conditions, such as metabolic alkalosis and cystic fibrosis-like symptoms, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target. The recombinant protein of SLC26A7 is essential for investigating its functional properties and understanding its mechanistic role in cellular transport processes. By studying the protein's structure and function through various biochemical assays, researchers aim to elucidate its contributions to ion transport and physiological regulation. This understanding may pave the way for novel interventions in diseases linked to SLC26A7 dysfunction. Consequently, the generation and characterization of SLC26A7 recombinant protein serve as a pivotal step in advancing our knowledge of this anion exchanger and its potential as a biomolecular target in clinical settings.
