  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

TIE-1, or Tyrosine Kinase with Ig and EGF-like domains 1, is a receptor tyrosine kinase that plays a crucial role in endothelial cell biology and vascular development. Its expression is primarily associated with blood vessel formation, and it is believed to be involved in processes such as angiogenesis and vascular stability. Research has shown that TIE-1 is essential for maintaining vascular integrity, and its dysfunction is implicated in various pathological conditions, including cancer and inflammatory diseases. Understanding the molecular mechanisms governing TIE-1 signaling can provide valuable insights into vascular biology and potential therapeutic targets. Recent studies have focused on the characterization of TIE-1 as a recombinant protein, enabling the exploration of its functional roles in vitro. The generation of TIE-1 recombinant proteins allows for detailed investigations into its interactions with ligands and other cellular components, shedding light on the signaling pathways it regulates. Furthermore, TIE-1’s role in mediating signals that prevent endothelial cell apoptosis and promote cell proliferation further emphasizes its importance in maintaining endothelial homeostasis. As such, TIE-1 continues to be a significant focus of research in the fields of cardiovascular biology and therapeutic development, with the potential for targeting its pathways to treat diseases associated with vascular dysfunction.
