Gene name
CCL11
-
简介
The CCL11 protein directly promotes eosinophil accumulation in response to allergens, a key feature of allergic inflammation, without significantly affecting lymphocytes, macrophages, or neutrophils. This selective recruitment highlights the specificity of CCL11 in the coordination of immune responses, particularly in allergy. CCL11 Protein, Rhesus macaque (N-His) is the recombinant Rhesus Macaque-derived CCL11 protein, expressed by E. coli , with N-6*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CCL11, also known as Eotaxin-1, is a crucial chemokine involved in the allergic and inflammatory response, particularly in the recruitment of eosinophils. Elevated levels of CCL11 have been associated with various allergic diseases, such as asthma, rhinitis, and atopic dermatitis. The interest in CCL11 research stems from its potential role as a therapeutic target, as blocking its activity might alleviate eosinophilic inflammation and related symptoms. Recombinant CCL11 proteins have been developed to study their biological functions, signaling pathways, and receptor interactions in vitro and in vivo. These studies facilitate a better understanding of the chemokine’s involvement in immune responses and its implications in disease pathology. Moreover, recombinant CCL11 is being explored for use in preclinical models to evaluate potential anti-inflammatory therapies or targeted drug delivery systems. The characterization of this protein can also provide insights into its structure-function relationships and pave the way for new interventions in allergic and inflammatory disorders, making it a significant focus in immunological and therapeutic research.
