Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Parathyroid hormone-related peptide (PTHrP) is a critical protein involved in a variety of physiological processes, particularly in regulating calcium homeostasis and bone metabolism. Initially identified in the context of humoral hypercalcemia of malignancy, PTHrP mimics the action of parathyroid hormone (PTH) and plays crucial roles in development, particularly in skeletal and mammary gland formation. Its expression is not limited to tumors, as it is also produced in normal tissues, indicating its importance in physiological functions. In recent years, recombinant PTHrP proteins have gained significant attention in research for their potential therapeutic applications. These recombinant forms enable scientists to investigate the specific biological roles of PTHrP in both normal and pathological states, including bone disorders and cancer. By studying the structure and function of PTHrP through recombinant technology, researchers aim to elucidate its mechanisms of action, paving the way for innovative treatments that could address conditions related to calcium imbalance, bone diseases, and even certain cancers. The production and characterization of PTHrP recombinant proteins represent a promising avenue for advancing our understanding of this multifaceted peptide and its potential clinical utility.
