Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MYLK4, or myosin light chain kinase 4, is a serine/threonine kinase that plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including muscle contraction and cell motility. As a member of the myosin light chain kinase family, MYLK4 is primarily expressed in smooth muscle and has emerged as a significant player in cardiovascular biology, particularly in the regulation of vascular smooth muscle tone. The understanding of MYLK4's function has been further enhanced by recent studies suggesting its involvement in various pathological conditions such as hypertension and atherosclerosis. Due to its potential therapeutic implications, researchers are increasingly focused on characterizing MYLK4 at a molecular level, exploring its biochemical properties, regulatory mechanisms, and interactions with other proteins. The investigation of MYLK4 recombinant proteins aims to provide insights into its structure-function relationships and develop targeted interventions that modulate its activity. Given the rising prevalence of cardiovascular diseases globally, the understanding and manipulation of MYLK4 may offer novel strategies for treatment and prevention, thus underscoring the importance of continued research in this area.
