Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
FLOT2, or Flotillin-2, is a protein that plays a critical role in cellular processes such as membrane organization, signaling, and endocytosis. It is part of the flotillin family, which is involved in the formation of lipid rafts—specialized membrane microdomains that compartmentalize cellular signaling and influence various physiological functions. Studies have shown that FLOT2 is implicated in diverse biological processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and migration. Abnormal expression or function of FLOT2 has been associated with various diseases, particularly cancer, where it may contribute to tumor progression and metastasis. Researchers have been focused on producing recombinant FLOT2 protein to better understand its structure and function. By using recombinant DNA technology, scientists can generate large quantities of pure FLOT2, allowing for detailed biochemical analyses, structural studies, and functional assays. This research not only elucidates the molecular mechanisms by which FLOT2 operates but also opens up potential therapeutic avenues, as targeting FLOT2 interactions could provide novel strategies for disease intervention. Understanding FLOT2's role in cellular dynamics and pathology remains a significant area of investigation, paving the way for advancements in biomedical research and the development of new treatments.
