Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NRTN (Neurturin) is a member of the glial cell line-derived neurotrophic factor (GDNF) family, known for its neurotrophic properties, particularly in promoting the survival and differentiation of neurons. Research into NRTN recombinant protein has gained momentum due to its potential therapeutic applications in neurodegenerative diseases, such as Parkinson's disease and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). NRTN has been shown to support the growth and maintenance of dopaminergic neurons, highlighting its significance in neuroprotection and regenerative medicine. As scientists have sought to harness the benefits of NRTN, the development of recombinant NRTN proteins has facilitated studies on its mechanism of action and biological activity. The production of NRTN as a recombinant protein allows for a better understanding of its receptor interactions and the downstream signaling pathways involved in neuronal survival. Furthermore, the exploration of NRTN as a therapeutic agent aims to address the limitations of current treatments for neurodegenerative conditions. Preclinical studies have indicated that NRTN may enhance neuron viability and promote functional recovery after neural injury. As a result, ongoing research focuses on optimizing the formulation and delivery methods of NRTN to maximize its efficacy and safety for potential clinical use, enabling a deeper understanding of its role in nervous system health and promoting innovative strategies for neuroprotection and repair.
