Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MCP-1, also known as CCL2 (C-C motif chemokine ligand 2), is a crucial chemokine involved in the inflammatory response and plays a significant role in recruiting monocytes to sites of injury and inflammation. Its importance is underscored in various pathological conditions, including cardiovascular diseases, neurodegenerative disorders, and cancers, where MCP-1/CCL2 mediates immune responses and contributes to disease progression. The therapeutic potential of targeting MCP-1/CCL2 has led to extensive research aimed at understanding its functions and mechanisms. Recombinant MCP-1/CCL2 proteins are essential tools for dissecting these biological pathways, enabling researchers to explore their roles in cell signaling and interaction within the immune system. Studies have shown that modulation of MCP-1/CCL2 levels can alter inflammatory responses, suggesting that it may serve as a biomarker for disease progression and a target for therapeutic intervention. Furthermore, the generation of recombinant MCP-1/CCL2 proteins facilitates advanced investigations into its structure-function relationship, signaling cascades, and interactions with its receptors, which can lead to the development of novel therapeutic strategies. Overall, research on MCP-1/CCL2 recombinant proteins is critical for understanding their implications in health and disease, thereby opening avenues for potential clinical applications in inflammatory and autoimmune diseases.
