Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NCR2 (natural cytotoxicity receptor 2) is an important activating receptor expressed primarily on natural killer (NK) cells and certain other immune cells. Research into NCR2 has gained momentum due to its role in immune responses against tumors and viral infections. As an activating receptor, NCR2 plays a crucial role in enhancing the cytotoxic activity of NK cells, allowing them to identify and eliminate infected or malignant cells more effectively. Unlike other well-characterized receptors, NCR2's precise mechanisms of action and its signaling pathways remain less understood, making it a subject of intense investigation. Studies have shown that the engagement of NCR2 can result in the production of cytokines and the promotion of cell-mediated cytotoxicity, thereby emphasizing its potential therapeutic relevance in cancer immunotherapy. Understanding the structural and functional aspects of NCR2 could lead to novel approaches for enhancing NK cell responses, presenting opportunities for the development of targeted therapies. Moreover, NCR2's expression and regulation in various immune and tumor microenvironments are also being explored to decipher its role in immune evasion by tumors. By elucidating the intricate biology of NCR2, researchers aim to harness its capabilities for improving immune-based therapies, making it a promising candidate for further exploration in the field of immunology and cancer therapy. Overall, NCR2 holds significant potential as a biomarker and therapeutic target, warranting ongoing research to unlock its full capability in combatting diseases.
