稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ANK1, or ankyrin-1, is a critical protein that plays a vital role in maintaining the structural integrity and functionality of erythrocytes (red blood cells). It is a key component of the membrane cytoskeleton, connecting transmembrane proteins to the underlying cytoskeletal framework, thus ensuring the proper shape and stability of red blood cells. Mutations in the ANK1 gene can lead to hereditary spherocytosis, a condition characterized by the production of abnormally-shaped red blood cells that are prone to hemolysis. Research into ANK1 recombinant protein has gained momentum due to its potential implications in understanding and treating various blood disorders. By producing and studying ANK1 in its recombinant form, scientists can investigate its functional domains, protein-protein interactions, and the molecular mechanisms underlying erythrocyte deformation and stability. Furthermore, recombinant ANK1 offers a platform for developing targeted therapies and diagnostic tools, contributing to the advancement of personalized medicine for patients with anemia and related hematological conditions. This research underscores the importance of ANK1 in both basic biology and clinical applications, positioning it as a pivotal target in hemoglobinopathies and other red blood cell disorders.
