  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

Alkaline Phosphatase (ALP) is a hydrolase enzyme that plays a critical role in dephosphorylating various molecules, which is essential for processes such as bone mineralization and metabolism. The ALPP gene encodes a tissue-nonspecific isoform of alkaline phosphatase, primarily expressed in the liver, kidneys, and bones. Research on ALPP recombinant proteins has gained prominence due to their potential applications in diagnostics, therapeutic development, and understanding various diseases, including liver and bone disorders. The recombinant production of ALPP allows for the generation of high-purity enzyme preparations, facilitating detailed biochemical studies and the exploration of its role in different physiological and pathological contexts. Furthermore, ALP levels are often used as biomarkers in clinical settings; thus, enhancing the understanding of its structure and function through recombinant protein studies could lead to improved diagnostic tools and targeted therapies. Additionally, insights gained from ALPP research may contribute to advancing knowledge in enzyme engineering for biotechnological applications, making it a significant area of interest in both basic and applied scientific research.
