Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CEBPa (CCAAT/enhancer-binding protein alpha) is a critical transcription factor involved in various biological processes, including adipogenesis, hematopoiesis, and immune response regulation. Its role in cellular differentiation and metabolism has garnered significant attention, particularly in the context of cancer research, where mutations in CEBPa have been associated with acute myeloid leukemia (AML). The expression of CEBPa is crucial for maintaining the balance between cell proliferation and differentiation, making it a potential therapeutic target. Research has focused on the recombinant production of CEBPa protein to enable functional studies, investigate its interactions with other proteins, and explore its regulatory mechanisms. By utilizing various heterologous expression systems, researchers aim to obtain biologically active CEBPa proteins for in vitro and in vivo analyses. This recombinant protein research not only helps elucidate the pathways mediated by CEBPa but also paves the way for developing novel strategies to manipulate its activity in cancer and metabolic disorders. Understanding the structural and functional properties of CEBPa through recombinant methods can ultimately contribute to better therapeutic approaches and enhance our knowledge of its role in cellular processes.
