简介
ULBP-6/RAET1L Protein, a key immune response modulator, activates the KLRK1/NKG2D receptor, triggering natural killer (NK) cell cytotoxicity. This engagement is pivotal for the immune system's defense against threats, showcasing ULBP-6/RAET1L's orchestration of NK cell responses. Its specificity is highlighted by the absence of a binding association with beta2-microglobulin in molecular interactions. ULBP-6/RAET1L Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived ULBP-6/RAET1L protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ULBP-6 (Ubiquitin-like protein 6) is a member of the ULBP family of proteins, which are known for their involvement in immune regulation and interaction with natural killer (NK) cells. This protein acts as a ligand for the NKG2D receptor, expressed on the surface of activated NK and some T cells, playing a crucial role in the immune response to stressed, infected, or transformed cells. RAET1L, a related protein, is also implicated in modulating NK cell activity and immune responses. Understanding the structure and function of ULBP-6/RAET1L recombinant proteins is essential in the context of cancer immunotherapy, autoimmune diseases, and viral infections. Research has demonstrated that these proteins can influence NK cell activation and cytotoxicity, providing insights into their potential use as therapeutic targets or biomarkers in diseases characterized by altered immune responses. Moreover, the ability to produce recombinant versions of ULBP-6/RAET1L enables detailed studies of their biochemical properties and interactions with immune receptors, paving the way for innovative strategies to enhance immune function or inhibit tumor growth. Thus, the exploration of ULBP-6/RAET1L recombinant proteins offers a promising avenue for advancing our understanding of immune modulation and for developing novel therapeutic approaches in oncology and immunology.
