  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

SLITRK4, a member of the SLITRK protein family, is known to play a crucial role in neural development and synaptic function. Recent studies have highlighted its potential involvement in neurodevelopmental disorders, particularly autism spectrum disorders (ASD). SLITRK4 is primarily expressed in the brain, where it is believed to modulate neuronal connectivity and synapse formation. Given its critical functions, research into SLITRK4 recombinant proteins has gained momentum as scientists aim to understand its biological mechanisms and interactions. By producing and characterizing SLITRK4 recombinant proteins, researchers can explore how alterations in its expression or function may contribute to neurological conditions, thus providing insights into potential therapeutic strategies. Furthermore, understanding the structural characteristics of SLITRK4 could pave the way for targeted drug development and personalized medicine approaches for patients with ASD and other related disorders. As SLITRK4 involves complex signaling pathways, the elucidation of its roles and interactions within the neural network is pivotal for advancing our comprehension of brain function and dysfunction.
