简介
The NXPH1 protein is similar to a neuropeptide and acts as a signaling molecule by binding to alpha-neurotoxins.Its ligand action is suggested to mediate cell signaling through interactions with neuronal cell adhesion proteins.NXPH1 Protein, Rat (HEK293, His) is the recombinant rat-derived NXPH1 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.

-
Biological Activity
Measured in a competitive binding assay. When Neurexin-1 alpha is immobilized at 1 µg/mL (100 µL/well), Neurexophilin-1 inhibits binding of biotinylated Neurexophilin-1 (1 µg/mL). The IC50 for this effect is 0.1095 μg/mL. Measured in a competitive binding assay. Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NXPH1 (Neurexophilin 1) is a member of the neurexophilin family, which is known for its role in synaptic transmission and neuronal communication. Recent research has highlighted the significance of NXPH1 in various neurological processes, including its involvement in the modulation of synaptic functions and its potential implications in neuropsychiatric disorders. Given its critical role in synaptic plasticity, NXPH1 has garnered interest as a potential biomarker for diseases such as schizophrenia and autism spectrum disorders. The recombinant expression of NXPH1 protein has become essential for studying its physiological and pathological functions in detail. By producing this protein in a controlled environment, researchers can investigate its structural properties, interaction with its receptor proteins, and potential therapeutic applications. Additionally, the study of NXPH1 can contribute to a broader understanding of synapse-related mechanisms, paving the way for novel treatments targeting synaptic dysfunction. The ongoing research into NXPH1 recombinant protein aims to elucidate its exact role in neural networks, ultimately enhancing our understanding of brain disorders and leading to the development of innovative therapeutic strategies.
