Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ADAM17, also known as TACE (Tumor Necrosis Factor-α Convertase), is a member of the ADAM (A Disintegrin and Metalloproteinase) family of zinc-dependent metalloproteinases. It plays a pivotal role in ectodomain shedding of various membrane proteins, including cytokines, growth factors, and receptors. This process is crucial for regulating cell signaling and communication, contributing to processes such as inflammation, immune response, and tissue remodeling. Dysregulation of ADAM17 activity is implicated in several pathologies, including cancer, autoimmune diseases, and cardiovascular disorders, making it an attractive target for therapeutic intervention. The recombinant protein of ADAM17/TACE can provide crucial insights into its structural and functional characteristics. By studying this protein, researchers aim to elucidate its specific mechanisms of action, regulatory pathways, and interactions with substrates. Furthermore, developing inhibitors or modulators of ADAM17 could potentially offer new therapeutic avenues for treating diseases driven by altered shedding processes. As such, the investigation of ADAM17/TACE recombinantly expressed protein is fundamental in advancing our understanding of its biological roles and translating this knowledge into clinical applications.
