简介
NELL2 protein, crucial for neuron survival, modulates MAPK pathways and regulates hypothalamic gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GNRH) secretion, impacting puberty control. NELL2 forms homotrimers and engages with PKC beta-1, indicating intricate molecular interactions in its regulatory functions. NELL2 Protein, Human (sf9, His) is the recombinant human-derived NELL2 protein, expressed by Sf9 insect cells , with C-His labeled tag.

稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NELL2 (Neural EGF-like protein 2) is a member of the epidermal growth factor (EGF) family that plays a crucial role in neural development, survival, and regeneration. Studies have shown that NELL2 is involved in various physiological processes, including neuronal differentiation and neurite outgrowth, making it an attractive target for research in neurodegenerative diseases and injury-related neural repair. The recombinant expression of NELL2 protein has allowed researchers to investigate its structural and functional properties more closely, facilitating the exploration of its signaling pathways and interactions with other proteins. Understanding the mechanisms by which NELL2 influences neuronal health could provide insights into potential therapeutic strategies for conditions such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, and spinal cord injuries. With advances in recombinant DNA technology and protein engineering, producing NELL2 as a functional protein has become increasingly feasible, enhancing our ability to study its biological relevance and therapeutic potential. These studies are crucial for elucidating the molecular underpinnings of neural plasticity and regeneration, ultimately contributing to the development of novel intervention strategies aimed at improving recovery from neural damage.
