简介
Lymphocyte antigen 6A-2/LY6A Protein, crucial for T-cell activation, plays a key role in immune responses. Its ability to facilitate T-cell activation underscores its importance in regulating T-cell responses and immune surveillance. The molecular interactions and signaling pathways in which LY6A participates during T-cell activation highlight its significance as a key orchestrator in immune responses, contributing to immune homeostasis. Lymphocyte antigen 6A-2/LY6A Protein, Mouse (His) is the recombinant mouse-derived Lymphocyte antigen 6A-2/LY6A protein, expressed by E. coli , with N-His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Lymphocyte antigen 6A-2 (LY6A) is a member of the LY6 family of glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored proteins, which play critical roles in immune response regulation and hematopoiesis. LY6A is predominantly expressed in lymphocytes, particularly in T cells and hematopoietic stem cells, and is involved in various cellular functions, including cell adhesion, signaling, and differentiation. The study of LY6A as a recombinant protein has gained traction due to its potential implications in immunotherapy, cancer biology, and regenerative medicine. Research has shown that LY6A can serve as a marker for specific immune cell populations, aiding in the identification and characterization of T cell subsets in both health and disease states. Moreover, its expression patterns have been correlated with tumor microenvironments, making it a candidate for novel cancer therapies targeting LY6A-expressing cells. The ability to produce LY6A as a recombinant protein allows for detailed functional studies and the exploration of its mechanisms in immune modulation. Understanding the interactions of LY6A with other cellular proteins and its involvement in immune evasion strategies by tumors could lead to breakthroughs in therapeutic approaches for cancer and autoimmune disorders. As such, LY6A represents a pivotal target for both basic and translational research in immunology and oncology, underpinning the need for further investigation into its biological functions and clinical relevance.
