简介
FRZB protein is a soluble Frizzled-related protein (sFRP) that modulates Wnt signaling by directly interacting with Wnt, thereby regulating cell growth and differentiation. FRZB, also known as SFRP3, plays a key role in limb skeletogenesis as a Wnt8 signaling antagonist. FRZB Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived FRZB protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
FRZB, or Frizzled-related protein, is a secreted antagonist of the Wnt signaling pathway, which plays critical roles in cell proliferation, differentiation, and tissue homeostasis. Its discovery provided insights into the regulatory mechanisms governing embryonic development and cellular communication. Research has highlighted FRZB's importance in various biological processes, including bone density regulation and the development of certain cancers. Notably, alterations in FRZB expression have been associated with conditions such as osteoarthritis and multiple types of tumors. Given its involvement in key signaling pathways, FRZB has garnered attention as a potential therapeutic target. Investigations into the structure and function of FRZB have revealed its ability to bind to Wnt ligands, thereby inhibiting their interaction with Frizzled receptors. This has prompted studies aimed at understanding the molecular mechanisms of FRZB, its role in pathophysiological conditions, and the potential for utilizing FRZB-based interventions in regenerative medicine and cancer therapy. As research continues to uncover the multifaceted roles of FRZB, it holds promise for the development of novel strategies to modulate Wnt signaling in various diseases, making it a focal point of interest in contemporary biomedical research.
