Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Annexin A8 (ANXA8) is a member of the annexin protein family, which is characterized by its ability to bind phospholipids in a calcium-dependent manner. This protein plays a significant role in various cellular processes, including membrane trafficking, cell proliferation, and apoptosis. Research has shown that ANXA8 is implicated in several pathological conditions, including cancer, where it may contribute to tumor progression and metastasis. Its differential expression in various tissues and cell types makes ANXA8 a potential biomarker for several diseases. The development of recombinant ANXA8 proteins has facilitated the study of its functional properties and interactions at a molecular level. Such studies aim to elucidate the precise roles of ANXA8 in cell biology and its potential as a therapeutic target. Additionally, the generation of ANXA8 recombinant proteins allows for high-throughput screening of inhibitors and modulators, which could provide insights into novel treatment strategies for diseases associated with ANXA8 dysregulation. Overall, the exploration of ANXA8 through recombinant technology presents significant opportunities for advancing our understanding of its multifaceted roles in human health and disease.
