简介
The TrkB protein is a key receptor tyrosine kinase that plays a key role in central and peripheral nervous system development. It regulates neuronal survival, proliferation, migration, differentiation, synapse formation, and plasticity. NTRK2/TrkB Protein, Human (Biotinylated, sf9, Flag, Avi) is the recombinant human-derived NTRK2/TrkB, expressed by Sf9 insect cells , with Avi, Flag labeled tag. ,

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NTRK2 encodes the neurotrophic tyrosine receptor kinase 2 (TrkB), a key player in the nervous system that mediates various neurotrophic signals, particularly those associated with brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF). TrkB is pivotal for neuronal survival, differentiation, and synaptic plasticity, making it an essential component in processes such as learning, memory, and emotional regulation. Dysregulation of TrkB signaling has been implicated in several neurodevelopmental and psychiatric disorders, including depression, anxiety, and schizophrenia, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target. Research has increasingly focused on TrkB as a target for drug discovery, leading to the development of small molecules and monoclonal antibodies aimed at modulating its activity for therapeutic benefits. Additionally, the production of recombinant TrkB proteins has been crucial for understanding the structural and functional dynamics of the receptor, allowing researchers to explore its interactions with ligands and downstream signaling pathways. Investigating these aspects of NTRK2/TrkB not only enhances our understanding of neuronal health but also opens avenues for novel treatments for various neurological conditions. As a result, NTRK2/TrkB remains a significant subject of study within neurobiological and pharmacological research.
