  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

TYK2 (Tyrosine Kinase 2) is a member of the Janus kinase (JAK) family, which plays a critical role in the signaling pathways of various cytokine receptors involved in immune responses and hematopoiesis. Its dysregulation has been implicated in several autoimmune diseases, such as psoriasis, multiple sclerosis, and inflammatory bowel disease, making it a promising therapeutic target. The study of TYK2 recombinant proteins is pivotal for understanding its structural and functional properties, as well as its interactions with cytokine receptors and downstream effector molecules. By producing recombinant TYK2, researchers can perform detailed biochemical assays, structural analyses, and functional studies to elucidate the mechanisms of TYK2-mediated signaling. Additionally, these studies facilitate the development of small-molecule inhibitors or monoclonal antibodies aimed at modulating TYK2 activity, which could lead to novel treatments for autoimmune disorders. Recent advances in protein expression and purification techniques have significantly improved the yield and quality of TYK2 recombinant proteins, enabling more precise investigations of its role in immune regulation and disease pathogenesis. Consequently, the research on TYK2 recombinant proteins holds significant potential for advancing our understanding of immune system signaling and developing targeted therapies for inflammatory diseases.
