Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SLC34A2 (sodium-dependent phosphate transporter 2) is a crucial membrane protein that plays a vital role in phosphate homeostasis by facilitating the transport of inorganic phosphate across the cell membrane. It is predominantly expressed in the renal proximal tubules and the intestine, where it is essential for phosphate reabsorption and dietary phosphate uptake. Deficiencies or mutations in the SLC34A2 gene can lead to significant metabolic disorders, such as hypophosphatemic rickets and osteomalacia, emphasizing its importance in bone health and mineral metabolism. The study of SLC34A2 recombinant protein is particularly significant for understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying phosphate transport and its regulation. The production of recombinant SLC34A2 allows researchers to investigate its structure-function relationship, pharmacological properties, and interactions with other cellular components, which can unveil the pathways involved in phosphate homeostasis. Furthermore, studying the recombinant form of this transporter can facilitate the development of targeted therapies for disorders related to phosphate imbalance and contribute to the design of novel drugs that modify its activity or expression. As the demand for effective treatments for phosphate-related disorders increases, SLC34A2 remains a key focus in biomedical research, highlighting the necessity for advanced studies on its recombinant protein to harness its therapeutic potential.
