Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MAPKAPK5 (Mitogen-Activated Protein Kinase-Activated Protein Kinase 5) is a member of the MAPKAP kinase family, which plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including stress response, cell differentiation, and proliferation. It is primarily activated by the p38 MAPK signaling pathway, which is known to mediate cellular responses to environmental stresses such as osmotic shock and inflammation. Research on MAPKAPK5 has gained attention due to its potential implications in diverse physiological and pathological conditions, including cancer, neurodegenerative diseases, and autoimmune disorders. The recombinant expression of MAPKAPK5 allows for in-depth studies of its biological functions, regulatory mechanisms, and interaction with other cellular proteins. By producing active MAPKAPK5 in a controlled environment, scientists can investigate its enzymatic activity, substrate specificity, and the effects of post-translational modifications. Furthermore, recombinant MAPKAPK5 can serve as a valuable tool for drug discovery efforts aimed at modulating its activity, thereby providing insights into therapeutic strategies for diseases linked to dysregulated MAPK signaling. Overall, the study of recombinant MAPKAPK5 contributes to a better understanding of MAPK signaling pathways and their roles in health and disease.
