Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
BTK, or Bruton's tyrosine kinase, plays a crucial role in the signaling pathways of B-cells and myeloid cells, making it a significant focus in immunology and oncology research. Its dysfunction is linked to several immunodeficiencies and lymphoid malignancies, including X-linked agammaglobulinemia (XLA) and certain types of leukemia and lymphoma. The exploration of BTK as a therapeutic target has gained momentum, particularly with the development of BTK inhibitors, which have shown promise in treating B-cell malignancies by interrupting aberrant signaling pathways. Researchers have also been investigating BTK's potential in modulating immune responses, which could lead to innovative treatments for autoimmune diseases. The recombinant production of BTK protein is essential for understanding its structure-function relationships and for developing targeted inhibitors. By studying the recombinant BTK, scientists aim to elucidate its mechanism of action and identify key regulatory domains. This knowledge can facilitate the design of novel therapeutic agents, enhance our understanding of B-cell biology, and ultimately inform clinical strategies to combat BTK-associated disorders.
