简介
RCN2 Protein, characterized by calcium binding ability, awaits a fully defined function. Despite its unknown specific function, the interaction with calcium suggests a potential role in calcium-dependent cellular processes. RCN2's affinity for calcium hints at its involvement in coordinating cellular events reliant on calcium signaling, underlining its significance in such regulatory processes. RCN2 Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived RCN2 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-6*His labeled tag.

稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RCN2, or Reticulocalbin 2, is a calcium-binding protein predominantly present in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER), known for its role in calcium homeostasis and protein folding. Research into RCN2 has gained momentum due to its implications in various cellular processes and potential links to several diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and cancer. Its ability to modulate calcium signaling pathways and influence the activity of other calcium-dependent proteins makes it a significant focus for understanding cellular stress responses and apoptosis. Moreover, RCN2 has been implicated in the regulation of the immune response, cellular differentiation, and developmental processes, highlighting its multifaceted role in health and disease. The study of recombinant RCN2 protein has become increasingly important, as it allows for detailed biochemical characterization and analysis of its functions and interactions. By producing RCN2 in a recombinant system, researchers can explore its properties in a controlled environment, investigate its structural features, and evaluate its potential as a therapeutic target. The insights gained from these studies may contribute to the development of novel strategies for disease intervention, particularly in conditions characterized by dysregulated calcium signaling or protein misfolding. Overall, the recombinant expression of RCN2 protein serves as a crucial tool in elucidating the biological roles of this protein and its potential implications in human health.
