简介
HSP40/DNAJB1 protein, a key player in cellular processes, interacts with HSP70 to enhance ATPase activity and stimulate HSC70-HIP association. It negatively regulates HSF1 transcriptional activity in heat shock response recovery, and interacts with DNAJC3 and HSF1, inhibiting their transcriptional activity. These multifaceted interactions showcase HSP40/DNAJB1's intricate regulatory functions in stress responses and protein folding. HSP40/DNAJB1 Protein, Human (His) is the recombinant human-derived HSP40/DNAJB1 protein, expressed by E. coli , with C-6*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
HSP40, also known as DNAJB1, is a member of the heat shock protein (HSP) family and plays a crucial role in protein folding and cellular stress response. It acts as a molecular chaperone, facilitating the proper folding of nascent polypeptides and the refolding of misfolded proteins under stress conditions. The importance of HSP40/DNAJB1 has gained significant attention in the context of various diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders, cancer, and metabolic diseases, where protein aggregation and misfolding are prevalent. Recent studies have highlighted its interaction with HSP70, forming a chaperone complex that enhances protein homeostasis and cellular resilience. Additionally, HSP40/DNAJB1 has been implicated in the modulation of signaling pathways associated with cell survival and apoptosis, further underscoring its potential as a therapeutic target. Research into the recombinant expression of HSP40/DNAJB1 enables a deeper understanding of its functional mechanisms and offers insights into potential interventions for diseases characterized by protein misfolding. As scientists explore its structure-function relationships and regulatory mechanisms, the findings could pave the way for novel strategies aimed at enhancing cellular stress resistance and improving health outcomes in various pathological contexts.
