  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

BCL6 is a transcriptional repressor that plays a crucial role in the regulation of the immune system, particularly in the development and function of germinal center B cells. It is encoded by the BCL6 gene located on chromosome 3 and is frequently implicated in various types of lymphomas and other cancers. The research on BCL6 recombinant protein has gained significant interest due to its potential as a therapeutic target, especially in the context of B cell malignancies. BCL6 mediates its effects through binding to specific DNA sequences, thereby modulating the expression of genes involved in cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. The aberrant expression or mutation of BCL6 can disrupt normal immune processes, leading to pathological conditions. Recent studies have focused on understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying BCL6 function and its interactions with co-repressors and other transcription factors. By generating recombinant BCL6 protein, researchers aim to elucidate its structure-function relationships and investigate its role in oncogenesis. Furthermore, the development of small-molecule inhibitors targeting BCL6 is being explored as a promising strategy to treat B cell malignancies, providing a rationale for the ongoing studies into the functional and therapeutic implications of BCL6 in cancer biology.
