Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
FOXC1, a transcription factor belonging to the forkhead box family, plays a critical role in the regulation of various biological processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and organ development. Its importance is underscored by its involvement in several developmental disorders and diseases, notably congenital heart defects and glaucoma. Research has shown that dysregulation of FOXC1 can contribute to malignancies, particularly in breast cancer, where it is associated with aggressive tumor phenotypes and poor prognosis. The structure of FOXC1, characterized by a conserved forkhead DNA-binding domain, enables it to interact with specific gene promoters, modulating the expression of targets involved in multiple signaling pathways. Given its pivotal role in development and disease, the study of FOXC1 as a recombinant protein presents a valuable opportunity to elucidate its functional mechanisms and interactions. Recombinant FOXC1 can be expressed and purified for various applications, including biochemical assays, structural studies, and therapeutic interventions. Understanding FOXC1’s molecular interactions and regulatory networks could provide insights into its role in disease progression and potential avenues for targeted therapies in conditions where FOXC1 is implicated. As research advances, the characterization of FOXC1 as a recombinant protein offers promising avenues for drug development and personalized medicine approaches in treating associated disorders. This multifaceted approach highlights the significance of FOXC1 not only in basic biological research but also in clinical settings, making it a crucial target for ongoing investigations.
