Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Lymphocyte antigen 6G (LY6G) is a member of the LY6 family of proteins, which are known to play critical roles in the immune response and cell signaling. LY6G is primarily expressed in neutrophils and has been implicated in various physiological processes, including cell adhesion, migration, and the modulation of immune responses. The significance of LY6G in inflammation and disease has garnered interest in recent years, particularly due to its association with conditions such as cancer, autoimmune diseases, and infections. Research has shown that LY6G can influence neutrophil functions, contributing to the body's defense mechanisms as well as to pathological processes when dysregulated. Recombinant LY6G proteins have been developed to facilitate studies aimed at elucidating the precise molecular mechanisms underlying its functions. These studies are essential for understanding how LY6G can be targeted for therapeutic intervention. By employing recombinant technology, researchers can produce purified LY6G for in vitro and in vivo experiments, allowing for a detailed examination of its interactions with other immune cells and its effects on immune modulation. As therapeutic agents targeting LY6G pathways emerge, understanding its structure-function relationship becomes crucial for designing effective strategies against diseases where neutrophil activity plays a pivotal role. This research not only contributes to the basic understanding of immune system dynamics but also opens avenues for developing novel therapeutic approaches for modulating immune responses in various diseases.
