  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

RBM14 (RNA Binding Motif Protein 14) is a member of the RNA-binding protein family, which plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including RNA splicing, stability, and translation. Recent studies have highlighted RBM14's involvement in key biological functions such as gene expression regulation and response to stress. Its dysregulation has been associated with multiple diseases, including cancer, where it can affect tumor progression and metastasis. The interest in RBM14 as a potential therapeutic target has grown, particularly due to its ability to interact with several oncogenic pathways. Researchers are increasingly focused on characterizing the structural and functional properties of recombinant RBM14 proteins to better understand their role in cellular mechanisms. These studies often involve the expression and purification of RBM14 in heterologous systems, enabling the investigation of its RNA-binding capabilities and the identification of its interacting partners. By elucidating the molecular functions of RBM14, scientists aim to develop novel strategies for the treatment of diseases linked to its malfunction, thereby paving the way for potential clinical applications in cancer therapy and beyond.
