简介
Sap130 Protein, a transcriptional repressor, participates in mSin3A corepressor complex assembly or enzymatic activity. It's a component of the complex, including SIN3A, SAP130, SUDS3/SAP45, ARID4B/SAP180, HDAC1, and HDAC2. Sap130 also interacts with CLEC4E, especially when released by dead or dying cells. Sap130 Protein, Mouse (His) is the recombinant mouse-derived Sap130 protein, expressed by E. coli , with N-6*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Sap130 is a crucial component of the spliceosomal complex involved in the pre-mRNA splicing process, playing a significant role in gene regulation and expression. As a member of the Sap complex, which includes various splicing factors, Sap130 has emerged as an important subject of study due to its implications in both normal cellular function and various diseases, including cancer. Researchers have focused on the structural and functional analysis of recombinant Sap130 to understand its interactions within the spliceosome, particularly how it contributes to spliceosome assembly and the regulation of alternative splicing. Given that alternative splicing is pivotal for generating protein diversity and controlling gene expression patterns, insights into Sap130 function could have far-reaching implications for therapeutic strategies targeting splicing-related disorders. Recent advances in protein expression and purification techniques have facilitated the production of recombinant Sap130, allowing for in-depth biochemical studies and structural characterization. Such studies aim to elucidate its mechanisms of action, the effect of post-translational modifications, and its role in splicing regulation. Furthermore, exploring the potential for targeting Sap130 in cancer therapeutics highlights its importance in the broader context of disease biology. Therefore, the study of recombinant Sap130 not only enhances our understanding of fundamental biological processes but also opens avenues for novel therapeutic interventions in splicing-related diseases.
