简介
The SMARCA4 protein is a multifaceted regulator of chromatin remodeling that dynamically alters DNA nucleosome topology through ATP-dependent enzymatic activity. As part of the SWI/SNF complex and the CREST-BRG1 complex, it regulates transcriptional processes, coordinating the release and activating recruitment of calcium-dependent repressor complexes. SMARCA4 Protein, Human (P.pastoris, His) is the recombinant human-derived SMARCA4 protein, expressed by P. pastoris , with N-6*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SMARCA4, also known as BRG1, is a key ATPase subunit of the SWI/SNF chromatin remodeling complex, which plays a critical role in regulating gene expression, DNA repair, and cellular differentiation. Mutations and alterations in SMARCA4 have been implicated in various cancers, particularly those of the lung, where it is frequently found to be mutated or lost. These alterations can lead to aberrant gene expression, contributing to tumorigenesis and disease progression. The study of SMARCA4 recombined proteins has gained attention due to their potential as biomarkers for cancer diagnosis and prognosis, as well as targets for novel therapeutic strategies. By understanding the functional implications of SMARCA4 alterations, researchers aim to delineate its role in tumor biology and identify how these changes affect tumor response to existing therapies. This research not only enhances our comprehension of the molecular mechanisms underlying cancer but also paves the way for the development of targeted treatments that could improve patient outcomes. Moreover, exploring the structural and functional aspects of SMARCA4 can provide insights into the broader context of chromatin dynamics and epigenetic regulation in health and disease. As such, the characterization of SMARCA4 recombined proteins is a crucial avenue for future research in cancer biology and therapeutic innovation.
