Analytical Data

  • Gene name

    NES

  • 简介

NES is critical for brain and eye development and promotes the disassembly of phosphorylated vimentin intermediate filaments during mitosis. It directs the transport of IF proteins and other factors to daughter cells during progenitor cell division, promoting the survival, renewal, and proliferation of neural progenitor cells. NES Protein, Human (P.pastoris, His) is the recombinant human-derived NES protein, expressed by P. pastoris , with N-6*His labeled tag.

  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

The research on NES (nuclear export signal) recombinant proteins has gained significant attention in the fields of molecular biology and biotechnology due to their crucial role in the transport of proteins and RNA from the nucleus to the cytoplasm. This process, vital for cellular homeostasis and gene regulation, is mediated by transport receptors and involves specific signals that facilitate the export of macromolecules. Understanding the mechanisms underlying NES functions can provide insights into various cellular processes and disease states, including cancer, where dysregulation of nuclear transport is often observed. Furthermore, recombinant NES proteins are being explored for their potential applications in drug delivery systems and the development of novel therapeutic strategies, enabling targeted treatments that enhance efficacy while minimizing side effects. As researchers continue to unravel the complexities of NES-mediated transport, the development of engineered NES proteins could pave the way for innovative solutions in biomedicine, offering new avenues for therapeutic interventions and advancing our understanding of intracellular dynamics.
