  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

Suppressor of Cytokine Signaling 3 (SOCS3) is a critical member of the SOCS family, which plays a pivotal role in the regulation of cytokine signaling pathways, particularly those mediated by JAK/STAT. Dysregulation of SOCS3 has been implicated in various pathological conditions, including obesity, insulin resistance, cancer, and autoimmunity. Research shows that SOCS3 can modulate the immune response by inhibiting pro-inflammatory cytokine signaling, thus acting as a negative feedback regulator. This function is especially relevant in the context of chronic inflammatory diseases where prolonged cytokine signaling can lead to tissue damage. Additionally, SOCS3 has been studied for its role in neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases, highlighting its potential impact on brain health. As such, the development of SOCS3 recombinant proteins holds promise for therapeutic applications, enabling the modulation of abnormal signaling pathways. Understanding the mechanisms by which SOCS3 exerts its effects can provide insights into novel treatment strategies for a variety of diseases characterized by excessive inflammation and dysregulated immune responses. Research into SOCS3, therefore, not only enhances our grasp of cytokine signaling but also opens new avenues for clinical interventions.
