Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Protein kinase C zeta (PKCz) is a member of the protein kinase C (PKC) family, which plays a critical role in various cellular processes, including signal transduction, cell differentiation, and survival. PKCz is unique among its isoforms for its specific involvement in the regulation of the cytoskeleton and the immune response. Its activation is associated with numerous physiological processes, making it a key player in cancer biology, neurodegenerative diseases, and metabolic disorders. Researchers have increasingly focused on understanding PKCz's structure, function, and regulatory mechanisms, particularly its interactions with other signaling molecules and pathways. This research is crucial for identifying potential therapeutic targets, as dysregulation of PKCz has been implicated in various pathological conditions. Investigation into PKCz and its recombinant forms has led to insights into its role in modulating signaling cascades and cellular outcomes, providing a foundation for developing novel drug therapies aimed at diseases where PKCz plays a pivotal role. As such, the study of recombinant PKCz not only advances our understanding of fundamental biological processes but also holds promise for innovative approaches to treat diseases characterized by PKCz involvement.
