简介
Osteopontin/OPN protein is an important member of the osteopontin family and plays a key role in cell adhesion, immune response regulation, and tissue mineralization. Osteopontin has conserved features within the family and its multifunctional properties contribute to both homeostasis and pathological conditions. Osteopontin/OPN Protein, Cynomolgus (HEK293, His) is the recombinant cynomolgus-derived Osteopontin/OPN protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Osteopontin (OPN) is a glycoprotein that plays a significant role in bone remodeling, immune responses, and various physiological and pathological processes. Its involvement in cellular signaling pathways and its ability to interact with different cell types make it a key player in inflammation, tissue repair, and tumor progression. Research on recombinant OPN protein has gained traction due to its potential applications in biomedical fields, including regenerative medicine and cancer therapy. Recombinant technology facilitates the production of OPN in sufficient quantities for in vitro and in vivo studies, enabling researchers to investigate its functional roles under various conditions. Moreover, the study of OPN is crucial for understanding diseases like osteoporosis, cardiovascular disorders, and certain cancers, where its expression levels often correlate with disease progression and outcomes. By elucidating the molecular mechanisms through which osteopontin operates, scientists aim to develop targeted therapies that can modulate its activity, enhancing therapeutic strategies and improving patient prognosis. The growing body of evidence highlighting OPN's multifaceted roles in both health and disease underscores the importance of further exploring its pathways and therapeutic potential.
