  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

DYRK1A (Dual-specificity tyrosine-phosphorylation-regulated kinase 1A) is a serine/threonine kinase located on chromosome 21, and it is of significant interest due to its implication in both development and neurobiology, particularly in relation to Down syndrome and other neurodegenerative disorders. Overexpression of DYRK1A is linked to cognitive deficits and developmental anomalies, as seen in individuals with Down syndrome, making it a crucial target for research aimed at reversing its pathological effects. Additionally, DYRK1A participates in various cellular processes, including cell cycle regulation, apoptosis, and neuronal differentiation. The study of DYRK1A recombinant proteins has gained momentum as these proteins serve as valuable tools for understanding the mechanisms by which DYRK1A regulates cellular functions. Researchers are developing recombinant DYRK1A proteins to investigate their enzymatic activities, structural properties, and interactions with other cellular components. Such studies are expected to unveil new therapeutic strategies for conditions associated with DYRK1A dysregulation, as well as to deepen our understanding of its role in various signaling pathways pertinent to human health and disease.
