Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Angiopoietin-2 (Ang2) is a key regulator of angiogenesis and vascular stability, playing a critical role in various physiological and pathological processes. Initially identified as an antagonist to Angiopoietin-1, Ang2 is primarily produced by endothelial cells and macrophages, influencing vascular dynamics during inflammation, tumor growth, and tissue repair. In the context of cancer, elevated levels of Ang2 are often associated with increased tumor angiogenesis and poor prognosis, making it a potential therapeutic target. Moreover, Ang2 has been implicated in cardiovascular diseases, where it can contribute to endothelial dysfunction and destabilization of blood vessels. The development of recombinant Ang2 protein has enabled researchers to study its biological functions and interactions with its receptors (Tie-1 and Tie-2) more precisely. This has led to a deeper understanding of its role in modulating the angiogenic response and its potential as a biomarker for various diseases. Furthermore, recombinant Ang2 is being explored for therapeutic applications, including its use in targeted cancer therapies and in managing chronic inflammatory conditions. As research progresses, recombinant Ang2 provides valuable insights into vascular biology and opens new avenues for clinical interventions aimed at manipulating angiogenic processes for therapeutic benefit.
