Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Interleukin-1 beta (IL-1β) is a pro-inflammatory cytokine that plays a critical role in various physiological processes, including immune response, inflammation, and cell proliferation. Elevated levels of IL-1β have been implicated in a wide array of inflammatory diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease, and sepsis. Consequently, understanding the biological functions and mechanisms of IL-1β is crucial for developing targeted therapies. Recombinant IL-1β proteins are utilized in both basic research and clinical applications to study its signaling pathways, receptor interactions, and effects on immune cells. Researchers utilize these proteins to investigate the cytokine's role in mediating inflammation, as well as to evaluate potential therapeutic interventions that can inhibit its activity. Recent advancements in biotechnology have facilitated the production of highly pure and bioactive recombinant IL-1β, which has further enhanced its utility in experimental settings. The ongoing research focuses on elucidating the complexity of IL-1β signaling networks and identifying novel targets for therapeutic intervention, aiming to mitigate the debilitating effects of IL-1β-mediated pathologies. Thus, recombinant IL-1β serves as a vital tool for both understanding the underlying mechanisms of inflammatory diseases and for the development of innovative treatments.
