简介
DKK-1 Proteinas are potent antagonists of canonical Wnt signaling, inhibiting LRP5/6-Wnt interactions and forming a ternary complex with KREMEN to promote LRP5/6 internalization. In addition to its proapoptotic function by antagonizing KREMEN1 independently of Wnt, DKK-1 also exhibits antiapoptotic activity. DKK1 Protein, Rhesus macaque (HEK293, His) is the recombinant cynomolgus/rhesus macaque-derived DKK1 protein, expressed by HEK293, with C-His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
DKK1 (Dickkopf-1) is a member of the Dickkopf family, which plays a crucial role in the regulation of Wnt signaling pathways, essential for various cellular processes including cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. Alterations in DKK1 expression have been implicated in multiple pathological conditions, including cancer, osteoporosis, and neurological disorders. Research has shown that DKK1 acts as a key inhibitor of the Wnt/β-catenin pathway, making it a significant target for therapeutic interventions. The use of recombinant DKK1 proteins in research is vital for dissecting its functions and mechanisms, as well as for exploring its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic agent. In recent studies, recombinant DKK1 proteins have been utilized to investigate their effects on tumor growth, bone density, and neural regeneration. These proteins are produced through advanced biotechnological methods, allowing for large-scale production and purification, which are essential for further preclinical and clinical studies. Understanding the complex role of DKK1 in various biological contexts could lead to novel therapeutic strategies for diseases associated with dysregulated Wnt signaling.
