简介
B3GALTL Protein s a novel glycosyltransferase found in multicellular animals such as mammals, insects, and nematodes. B3GALTL plays important roles in variety of biological processes and encodes enzymes that catalyze the attachment of asugar molecule to specific acceptor sites. And it is involved in the synthesis of the disaccharide Glc-β1,3-Fuc-O-. Furthermore, mutations in the B3GALTL gene cause Peters Plus syndrome. B3GALTL Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived B3GALTL protein, expressed by HEK293 , with N-His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
B3GALTL (Beta-1,3-galactosyltransferase-like protein) is a member of the glycosyltransferase family, which plays a crucial role in glycan biosynthesis. Its primary function involves the transfer of galactose to specific acceptor molecules, a process essential for the formation of complex carbohydrates on the surfaces of cells. The study of B3GALTL is significant due to its potential implications in various biological processes, including cell adhesion, signaling, and immune response. Abnormalities in glycosylation patterns, which may arise from mutations or dysregulation of glycosyltransferases like B3GALTL, have been linked to several diseases, including cancer and congenital disorders. Consequently, investigating the recombinant expression of B3GALTL can provide insights into its enzymatic properties, functionality, and role in disease mechanisms. This research not only helps to unravel the molecular basis of glycosylation-related diseases but also opens avenues for therapeutic interventions and biotechnological applications, such as developing glycan-modified proteins for improved efficacy in drug delivery systems. Overall, understanding the structure and function of B3GALTL through recombinant protein studies is vital for advancing both basic and applied biomedical research.
