Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CD6 is an immunomodulatory receptor primarily expressed on T cells and natural killer (NK) cells, playing a crucial role in the regulation of immune responses. Its interaction with various ligands, including CD166, is implicated in T cell activation, proliferation, and differentiation, influencing autoimmune diseases, allergies, and cancer. The study of CD6 recombinant proteins has gained attention due to their potential in therapeutic applications, such as enhancing anti-tumor immunity or modulating autoimmune responses. By expressing CD6 as a recombinant protein, researchers can investigate its structural properties, binding affinities, and function in the immune system, providing insights into its role in T cell regulation and potential as a therapeutic target. Understanding the mechanisms of CD6 can lead to novel interventions in immune-related disorders, making it a significant focus of immunological research in the context of developing targeted therapies.
