  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

USP6 (ubiquitin-specific protease 6) is a member of the deubiquitinating enzyme family known for its role in reversing the ubiquitination process, thereby influencing various cellular functions such as protein stability, cell cycle progression, and signal transduction. The study of USP6 is particularly significant due to its association with certain human tumors, notably its overexpression in cases of aggressive neoplasms like the nodular fasciitis and other soft tissue tumors. Researchers have identified USP6's involvement in key biological pathways, including the regulation of apoptosis and DNA repair, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target. The recombinant protein of USP6 serves as a valuable tool for investigating its molecular mechanisms and interactions within the cell. By producing and characterizing USP6 reconstituted in vitro, scientists can better understand its enzymatic activities, substrate specificity, and regulatory roles. Furthermore, studying the recombinant USP6 protein allows for the exploration of its potential as a biomarker for malignancies or as a drug target, paving the way for innovative cancer therapies. Ultimately, the research around USP6 recombinant protein is vital for elucidating the intricate processes of ubiquitination and its implications in cancer biology, contributing to the broader understanding of tumorigenesis and treatment development.
