  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

Rab10 is a member of the Rab family of small GTPases, which are crucial regulators of intracellular vesicle trafficking. It plays a significant role in various cellular processes, including endocytosis, exocytosis, and the maintenance of organelle integrity. Recent studies have highlighted Rab10's involvement in several key physiological and pathological contexts, particularly in neuronal and adipose tissue functions. Its dysfunction has been linked to diseases such as Alzheimer's and diabetes, making it a critical target for therapeutic interventions. Researchers have developed recombinant Rab10 proteins to investigate its structural dynamics and interaction with effector proteins. Understanding Rab10's molecular mechanisms can pave the way for new strategies in drug development and provide insights into the fundamental processes of cellular transport. These studies are essential for uncovering the potential of Rab10 as a biomarker and therapeutic target in metabolic disorders and neurodegenerative conditions. As such, the production and characterization of recombinant Rab10 proteins have become an important area of research, facilitating a deeper understanding of its role in human health and disease.
