Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor A (VEGFA) is a critical protein that plays a pivotal role in angiogenesis, the process through which new blood vessels form from existing ones. It is primarily involved in promoting endothelial cell proliferation, migration, and survival, making it essential for both physiological processes, such as wound healing and embryonic development, and pathological conditions, including cancer and diabetic retinopathy. The deregulation of VEGFA signaling has been implicated in various diseases, leading to increased research interest in both its mechanisms and therapeutic potential. Recombinant VEGFA proteins have been extensively studied for their ability to modulate angiogenic activities and serve as a valuable tool in biomedical research. They are utilized in diverse applications, including drug development, tissue engineering, and regenerative medicine. By understanding the structure-function relationship of VEGFA and exploring its roles in different biological contexts, researchers aim to develop targeted therapies that can more effectively manage diseases characterized by abnormal vascular growth. The study of recombinant VEGFA not only enhances our knowledge of vascular biology but also offers insights into developing novel treatments that could improve patient outcomes in conditions associated with impaired angiogenesis. As the field progresses, the production and characterization of VEGFA recombinants continue to spark conversations about their therapeutic implications and the potential to engineer innovative solutions to combat vascular-related disorders.
