简介
Beta-2 microglobulin (B2M) is vital in presenting antigens to the immune system through MHC class I molecules. It forms a heterodimer with an alpha chain to create MHC class I molecules. B2M also forms a heterotrimer with MR1 and a metabolite antigen, enhancing antigen presentation and immune recognition. B2M's molecular interactions facilitate immune system functioning and foreign substance recognition. B2M/Beta-2 microglobulin Protein, Mouse (HEK293, His) is the recombinant mouse-derived B2M/Beta-2 microglobulin protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Beta-2 microglobulin (B2M) is a small protein that plays a critical role in the immune system and is a component of the major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class I molecules. It is involved in antigen presentation, which is essential for the activation of T-cells. Abnormal levels of B2M are associated with various diseases, including chronic kidney disease, multiple myeloma, and certain autoimmune disorders. The study of recombinant B2M has gained attention due to its potential applications in diagnostics and therapeutics. Recombinant B2M can be utilized to better understand its biological functions, investigate its role in disease pathogenesis, and develop novel strategies for treatment. Additionally, it serves as a valuable tool in research, enabling scientists to explore its interaction with other proteins and the immune system more broadly. Advances in recombinant DNA technology facilitate the production of B2M, allowing for high-yield synthesis and purification, which are essential for both laboratory research and potential clinical applications. Overall, the investigation of recombinant B2M offers promising insights into immune response mechanisms and potential therapeutic avenues for B2M-related diseases.
