Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ABCB10, a member of the ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporter family, has garnered significant interest in recent years due to its critical role in cellular processes, particularly in the transport of various substrates across cellular membranes. This protein is predominantly expressed in hematopoietic tissues and has been implicated in iron metabolism, affecting erythropoiesis and overall cellular iron homeostasis. Aberrant expression or mutations in ABCB10 have been associated with various hematological disorders, including anemia and other blood-related pathologies. Furthermore, emerging studies suggest that ABCB10 may play a role in drug resistance mechanisms in cancer cells, highlighting its potential impact on therapeutic efficacy. Investigating the structure and function of ABCB10, particularly through recombinant protein strategies, can provide insights into its mechanistic roles and regulatory pathways. Understanding ABCB10's function could pave the way for novel therapeutic approaches targeting iron-related disorders and improving treatment responses in oncology.
