Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Orm2, or ORM2 (oxidative stress-responsive protein 2), is a member of the ORM gene family, which plays a crucial role in cellular responses to stress, particularly oxidative stress. Research on Orm2 has garnered attention due to its involvement in various biological processes, including inflammation, cell proliferation, and differentiation. In many organisms, Orm2 is known to be upregulated in response to oxidative stress, suggesting its potential as a marker for stress-related conditions. Studies have revealed that Orm2 may influence cellular metabolism and impact the function of several signaling pathways linked to tumor progression and immune responses. Additionally, the protein has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, highlighting its functional importance in disease pathology. Understanding the mechanisms by which Orm2 operates is critical for developing therapeutic strategies targeting stress response pathways. Current research focuses on elucidating the molecular interactions of Orm2, its regulation, and its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target in conditions exacerbated by oxidative stress. As such, Orm2 continues to be an important subject of study in the fields of molecular biology, biochemistry, and medicine, with the potential to provide insights into disease mechanisms and lead to novel interventions.
